So I've been questioned about what really happened on that phone call and why it was so special. O.K. -- you caught me. While the story was true, I intentionally left out a few details to protect the innocent. Actually, I didn't fully disclose everything because the conversation was pretty funny and caught me off guard.....especially considering I was speaking to one of the special agents at the Office of Investigations for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Remember, I worked for the government and while I may not always agree with specific political agendas or policies, I am proud to live and work in the United States of America. But, I was not expecting the humor and kindness I received from this phone call. (Aahh, yes, never judge a book by its cover.) Without realizing it, so much of what we do happens on an unconscious level. Our mind has imprinted thousands of stories that we replay over and over.
